AUDIO-VISUAL GUIDELINES FOR SLIDE PRESENTATIONS

EMBC'01 will provide the following equipment for presentations in each conference room:

Overhead Projector

35mm Carousel Slide Projector with Remote control

Video Projector (Data-show)

To assist the Session Chair and ensure a seamless transition during Presentations, each presenting Author must advise which type of equipment will be used for their presentation.

You can provide this information by entering the Audio-Visual information directly into the EMBC'01 On-line Paper Registration system. You can log-in directly from the conference website or go directly to http://www.bmed.mcgill.ca/embs/confuseTPC/control.cfm You will need your username and password to log-in.

Deadline for submitting this information into the registration system is 30 September 2001.

It is IMPORTANT to note:

Each video projector unit (data-show projector) will be connected to a computer and support resolution displays of 1024x768.

When creating your presentation, please create your PowerPoint document using Microsoft Office 2000.

Your presentation should be brought on a 3.5"disk or CD-ROM for uploading prior to your presentation.

It is the responsibility of the presenting Author to load the presentation onto the computer supplied and ensure the presentation operates properly.

EMBC'01 recommends having a "back up" presentation available in the event of technical difficulties.

Support will be unable to provide support for MAC users, Zip Drives or multi-media presentations.

Additional equipment requested by the presenting Author must be approved by the Program Chair and will only be arranged at the expense of the presenting Author.
